Private Stargazing Tours
Perfect for any occasion! The Twentynine Palms Astronomy Club offers private stargazing tours and night sky presentations in Joshua Tree to entertain and educate you about our cosmic
neighborhood. From the Moon and Planets, to distant nebulae and star clusters in the Milky Way, even all the way to other galaxies in the vast universe; these fascinating objects
will come alive in our telescopes, all with personal narration from our expert astronomer guides.
These presentations include telescope viewing, binoculars and
laser constellation tours.
Private night sky tours typically last around two hours and are offered around the Joshua Tree and Morongo Basin area at a location of your choice, including from the comfort of
your AirBnB or event venue, or from our dark sky site, the Adobe Observatory.
Throughout the year start times for stargazing tours vary from about 5pm in winter to 9pm in the summer. Let our expert astronomers guide you around the night sky!
Our rates are based on number of guests and the length of the presentation.
For a typical star party for a small private group of 1-8 guests,
our rate would be
$500 total.
Larger events such as corporate parties and weddings are available per request.

Embark on a journey through the universe with the unaided eye, binoculars and our large aperture telescopes, viewing all the
celestial highlights on a given night, all with detailed descriptions, fun facts, and explanations from our experienced astronomer staff.
Learn the constellations as we walk through the patterns of stars in the night sky and the mythology behind them.

experience for people of all ages. It's guaranteed to be an evening under the stars you will not soon forget!
Our stargazing tours also includes souvenir photos of either a night sky portrait of your group with beautiful Milky Way starfields in the
background or a stunning hi-power photo of the moon taken through our telescopes right on your smart phone.
